I have had an interest in capturing beautiful moments for as long as I can remember. One of my proudest memories behind the camera was around the time I was 5 years old, taking pictures of my parents on holiday on their film camera.
I cannot begin to tell you what a privilege that was, to be trusted with taking pictures given the very limited amount of shots that were available at the time on a single roll of film. Having shot weddings for the past five years for friends and family I am now expanding my portfolio to a full fledged business.
I focus on capturing the moments that arise naturally during one of the happiest days of your life.
I like to follow the flow of the day while ensuring I cover all the shots from our agreed list as well as all the standard shots you'd expect to see.
In a word, minimal.
Too often our perception of the real world is dominated and distorted by instagram filters and retouched models.
Instead my style focuses on true to life natural colours, candid moments and genuine emotions with absolutely minimal corrections (say someone had a drop of wine on their dress/shirt - if at all needed).
I work with the environment and lighting available to produce that dreamy look that we all crave. With years of experience taking portraits I ensure that all my couples are left blown away with the end results.
I am based in the lovely small town of Littlehampton. I cover the entirety of the south coast.
I predominantly cover the counties of East and West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Kent. I am also able to travel to London.
With the exception of destination weddings I do not charge for travel as this is included in all my quotes. One price, full service, no hidden fees or charges. It is something I pride myself on as a differentiating factor over other photographers.
As you may have seen in my pricing section, I offer a free 1 hour online call for all of the packages, where we get to know each other and see if things look like they will be a good fit.

Providing I have availability for your date I will send over a contract for you to read and sign then I will take a small non-refundable deposit to secure your date.
When you have signed your contract and the deposit is paid, you're all booked in.
Wedding season gets busy fast, up to a year in advance so book early to ensure you do not miss out.

Your deposit secures my services for the full day. I work on a first come first served basis with signed contracts.
During very busy times I will notify you if anyone else has enquired about the same dates but once a contract is signed and the deposit is paid, only one couple will have access to my services for that date.
Of course! That is what I am here for. Your best bet would be to jot me a quick email with any and all questions relating to photography.
I want to make sure your big day goes off without a hitch. If you're the kind of person who wants every detail planned down to 15 minute increments, I can work with you to achieve that.
On the other hand, if you've got a more relaxed approach we will discuss exactly what you are aiming to get out of me and how we will get there so that I am not getting in the way of you being present in the moment.
I am a Sony shooter. I have a mix of prime and zoom lenses.
I use low F-stops to help me capture those sweet natural moments while ensuring everyone is in focus. Happy to dive into more detail if you're more interested in the specifics, just ask.
I always bring "hot spares" with me on the day just in case a battery dies or I fill up a memory card.
I always arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes early. If I'm on time, I'm late.
This ensures that I am not yet another thing you have to worry about on the big day.
I will work with you to ensure my wardrobe is appropriate and does not clash with any colour combination you have chosen. A typical outfit would include comfortable shoes, smart trousers and a shirt. If necessary I could be persuaded to wear a suit, although on hot days blazers come off fast.
Embrace it!
In photography we often want to avoid super bright sunny days as it creates harsh looking shadows. Without getting much more technical it is not an issue.
My advice would be if you as the couple brush it off as if it's nothing, so will the guests.
It's totally up to you.
However, I will say I had one for my wedding, and it is a memory I will cherish forever.
I mix shooting styles for the different parts of the day.
I switch between documentary, lifestyle, fashion and fine art photography. If there is a particular shot you'd like me to recreate please let me know and I will do my best.
It is your day so whoever you want.
My only advice would be to have a dedicated person (groomsman/bridesmaid) who will ensure everyone is present to keep things moving swiftly.

That being said, this is a common question in this line of work.
My guarantee to you is that I will find a suitable replacement for you with a similar style to mine so you can rest easy.
The show will go on.
You will get a sneak peek at a select few images that you can share on socials right away. Unlike other photographers I get these across to you within 72h.
Based on the package you have selected, I will aim to get all your photos turned around in the specified timeframe.
In any case the maximum turn around time for any of the packages will be no longer than 3 months.
You will receive a keepsake USB stick with all your edited HD images along with a printing licence so you are free to use any printing service of your choice.
I have found this works better than you being locked in with a premium provider I choose where pricing is often prohibitively expensive due to the "wedding" keyword.
If you would like I can also send a .zip package of all the edited photos you have to your email so you have a back up copy in case you misplace the USB stick.
I have all the necessary paperwork for both personal indemnity and public liability.
If your venue requires a copy of these please let me know and I can forward all the relevant documentation.
I send out a draft version of the contract for you to read through following our pre-wedding meeting as standard practice. But if you want to read through it before please request this via email.
